J. Robert Fitzgerald, retired Vice President of BellSouth Corporation in Atlanta, GA, currently serves as Executive Director of Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center in Atlanta.

Bob has been active in retreat work since 1996 giving retreats in Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama and Texas.
A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he received his bachelor’s and law degrees from Louisiana State University, and later earned a master’s degree in business at the University of Hawaii while serving in the U.S. Air Force as a judge advocate.

Bob has served as Chair of Saint Joseph’s Hospital and St. Joseph Health System Boards. He currently serves as Chair of the Health Systems Sponsorship Committee, and as a member of the Health System and the Catholic Health East boards.
