David G. Hanna is Co-Founder, Chairman of the Board and CEO of CompuCredit, which was formed in 1996. Mr. Hanna has extensive experience in the credit industry including co-founding Account Portfolios in 1990 with his brother Frank. Account Portfolios quickly became one of the largest purchasers of distressed debt in the United States. Prior to founding Account Portfolios, Mr. Hanna was President of the Government Services division of Nationwide Credit. Nationwide was one of the top five receivables management companies in the country and was sold in 1990 to First Financial Management. Mr. Hanna began his career as a lending officer with C&S National Bank in Atlanta.
Mr. Hanna has a B.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Georgia and lives in Atlanta with his wife Kim and their three children.
